Below is some information on past leadership at St. Andrew’s

For six consecutive Sundays from July 13th through August 17, 2025, St. Andrew’s welcomed Dr. Semaj Vanzant who lead a compelling, relevant series entitled:
“What does God really think about this?”

Through this series, Dr. Vanzant explored personal life questions and issues impacting the world around us and explained how Christian faith can help bring perspective, guidance and answers. He allowed our congregation to submit questions they had for God and cited moments within scripture where these answers appear. He challenged us to engage with our neighbor to reassure them and ourselves that our faith in God as Christians provides the ultimate comfort, and it is through Him we find our purpose, our strength, our compassion, and forgiveness.

We sincerely thank Dr. Vanzant for leading us during this time!

In mid-May, 2024, Pastor Andrew Maggs announced to the congregation that he was reassigned to Almonesson United Methodist Church in Deptford, New Jersey and Bethel United Methodist Church in Sewell, New Jersey.

We pray for Pastor Andrew as he makes this transition and wish him the best, with love from the entire St. Andrew’s congregation.

We also extend our deepest condolences to Pastor Andrew and his family as they navigate the loss of his father.

Best of luck, Pastor Andrew!
